Keep up to date with all the big sports events you know and love, screening live in the bar or try your luck on the TAB (horse and sports betting) or the latest gaming machines.

Check in is from 2pm and check out is by 10am. If you do wish to request a later check out please see one of our staff members. Late checkout without approval may incur an extra charge.

Please make your way into the bar area, turning right as you enter the main entrance, where you will be greeted by staff who can help with any enquiries.  If you have not booked by one of our booking channels (booking.com, Expedia etc) please make payment on arrival in the bar area.

You’ve been issued with an electronic keycard to gain access to the main door and your room. Please keep this in a safe place and either leave in the room or return to the bar upon departure. These will deactivate at your scheduled check-out time.  unreturned keys will incur a $50 charge.

We have a small (12 person) board room available for hire. It is equipped with audio visual and white board facilities. Please enquire at the bar.

There is plenty of onsite parking available. While it is well lit, please do not leave any items in your car as we can’t be held responsible for any damage or break ins.

Cots can be provided but we do have a limited number.  Highchairs are available from the restaurant.

2 bath towels are supplied in your room. If you need extras, please ask the housekeeping staff or duty manager.

There is a hairdryer located in either your drawer in the bathroom or the wardrobe.

You have an ice box in your fridge, or we can provide more if required upon request at the Bar.

Your room will receive a daily service, and also a linen change every 3 days for a long stay.

A guest washing machine and drier is available. Please ask staff for assistance. There is an iron and ironing board in your room.

If you need to store bags we can do so, but space is limited. Please ask.

Any items left behind are kept for 3 months, after which they will be donated to a charitable organisation. Please contact us to arrange collection or to have your item forwarded to you.

The closest gym available for casual use is located at Pioneer Stadium, 75 Lyttelton Street in Spreydon. They offer the use of a lap pool and recreational pool, a fully equipped gymnasium, spa, sauna, steam room and several fitness classes are available also.

There is a Westpac bank operating in the shopping centre which shares our car park.

There are bus stops right outside Nichols road. These operate regularly from 6am until 11pm. Services operate to the city, the timetable is located on the bus stop or you can download the metroinfo app if you have a smart phone.

We here at The Halswell strive to give you the best stay possible. If for whatever reason we don’t live up to your expectations, please let us know so we can endeavour to put things right. If we don’t know we can’t fix it.  We encourage you to fill out the feedback form and either bring it with you when you checkout or leave it in your room for housekeeping to collect.
